Your student's safety is our top priority. We do everything we can to keep them safe and secure from the moment they step foot in our beautiful State College apartment building. Our highly-trained staff provides 24/7 support and assistance whenever it's needed. Our residents are also covered by an attentive maintenance team, an advanced keycard access system, and a bank of digital security cameras located throughout the common areas. These security features mean your student can enjoy their living experience without having to be concerned about their safety.

School colors and memorabilia are infused into the interior design of our buildings and common areas so that students feel connected to their school’s storied history and remarkable spirit.

The Rise at State College building is located on the edge of downtown State College, PA—just steps from the edge of Penn State’s campus—so your Nittany Lion can easily walk to classes and campus activities. Our location gives students access to all that downtown has to offer, but provides a quieter atmosphere with fewer distractions. We also provide a secure bike storage room and leasable on-site parking garage that residents can take advantage of, allowing many students to ride their bikes.

Our dedicated management team and staff of student representatives cultivate an atmosphere where students can develop, both personally and academically. From community activities to learning opportunities to security services, the people of Rise at State College are committed to creating a fulfilling living experience.

Our facility is serviced by a licensed maintenance team that has advanced training and years of experience. We aim to resolve most maintenance requests quickly and free of charge. Residents can easily submit a maintenance request online through the resident portal or by contacting the leasing office during regular office hours.

Applying and Leasing, made simple

We know your time is important, so we use a streamlined system that makes it possible to complete the application and leasing process online. Each resident must pass a background check as part of the application process. If a potential resident does not meet certain requirements, a cosigner must submit a Guaranty Form along with their application.

If you or your student is interested in applying to live on an exclusive graduate floor, you should select “Graduate Student” under applicant type.

Rise at State College issues 12-month, individual leases—meaning your student is responsible only for their own rental payment. The convenient, online leasing process makes it easy for residents, parents, or cosigners to submit rental payments, especially for those who live outside of the State College, PA area.
